On a hill in the Val d'Orcia stands the village dominated by one of the most spectacular Tuscan fortresses: Radicofani. Its historic center stands out for its splendid buildings. Among the numerous places of worship, the most remarkable building is the Romanesque church of San Pietro. In this Church there are four works in glazed terracotta, the so-called "Robbiane", works made in that style that has become a name of beauty and an identifying element of Tuscany, also thanks to the construction of tabernacles placed in the facades of houses on farms or placed at the intersections of streets. Robbiane attributable, in our case, to Andrea, to his children, and to his workshop.
