Daigo-ji Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple located in the southeastern part of Kyoto, Japan. Founded in 874, Daigo-ji is one of the most important and popular temples in Japan and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Daigo-ji consists of several buildings, including the main hall, pagoda, bell tower, and several sub-temples. Its most famous feature is the five-story pagoda, which stands at a height of over 50 meters, making it one of the tallest pagodas in Japan. The temple also features beautiful gardens, including the Shingon garden, the Seminar Garden, and the Dry Landscape Garden, as well as a variety of statues, including the famous Kannon statue which is said to bring good luck.
