Ingólfshöfði Puffin Tour photo spot

A fun and unique tour of Ingólfshöfði Nature Reserve that begins with a hay cart before exploring the area on foot with a guide. The reserve is an isolated headland and home to thousands of nesting seabirds such as puffin and great skuas. The hike is about 1 and half hour around Ingólfshöfði Cape, named after Iceland’s first settler Ingólfur Arnarson, and starts with a steep sand slope and rocky terrain but after that, it is mostly flat land. Season from 20 May – 17 August.
