Laguna Blanca is a stunningly beautiful lake located in the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve in southwestern Bolivia. It is situated at an elevation of 4,350 meters above sea level and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, including the towering Volcán Licancabur. The lake gets its name from the white color of the water, which is caused by the high concentration of borax and other minerals.
